Sample Regimen for Curly/Coily Damaged Hair

Apply a protein treatment to dry or damp hair. Cover with a shower cap or use a gentle heat source for 30 minutes.


-Wash hair once a week using a sulphate-free shampoo.


-Deep condition with every shampoo.

-Follow with a moisturising rinse-out conditioner.


-Apply a leave-in conditioner after washing, at least three times per week.


-Finish the wash routine with a light oil to seal in moisture.

Use a sulphate-containing shampoo no more than once a month (for clarifying only).

For severe damage, consider stronger, salon-based protein treatments once a month.( add our website.


Eliminate at least one damaging practice:


Air-dry hair whenever possible and limit blow-drying and flat-ironing to special occasions only.


Avoid permanent hair colour and switch to temporary rinses until the damage has been repaired.


Avoid no-lye relaxers. Opt for texturisers or mild relaxers applied in salons only. Make sure you speak to the hairstylist to understand the product being used and how to minimise damage. Stretch relaxer applications to once every three months.
